Marionetas and Wooden Type

Juan Pablo Cambariere of Buenos Aires is a very accomplished designer of book and record covers. However it is his wooden puppets who are stealing the stage now. They are each made from simple wooden blocks fastened together with string and hinged joints that come to life with pulleys and gears. To add to the charm, he has combined some very nice arrangements of his own wooden type to some of his work. Next I expect to see all of his marionetas come to life in an animation along with some thought balloons to contain his wooden letters. Simply charming work! And be sure to check out some of Cambariere's great book cover designs here too.
